American Music Awards — YouTube

The American Music Awards are back at Microsoft Theater to honor the music industry's best with their annual show, Oct. 9.  

YouTube will be airing the red carpet show live, before the award show officially begins. At 8 p.m. PST, those with pay-TV logins can live-stream the award show on ABC’s website or mobile apps. The show will also be available through streaming services such as PS Vue, Hulu With Live TV, and DirecTV Now.

"Black-ish" star Tracee Ellis Ross returns as the host for the second year in a row. Ross was also an executive producer for the American Music Awards this year. 

Drake, Imagine Dragons, Post Malone Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are all up for artist of the year. The New Artist of the Year category will be between Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Khalid, Dua Lipa and XXXTentacion. Both Drake and Cardi B lead with a total of eight nominees each.
